ABOUT EMMA
I live in Charlton Kings with my family. I have been in the corporate world of events for 25 years and it is now time to to follow my real passion.
My real passion is to provide the best dog walking service you can find in Cheltenham by walking your furry friends on the incredible hills that we are so privileged to be surrounded by (whatever the weather).
I want to care for every dog as if it was my own, learn about their individual characters, keep them engaged & maximise fitness.
I want to provide a reliable, safe & friendly service that really cares about making each walk great fun.

SERVICES
PACK WALKS
Hounds & Hunters offers pack walks every weekday between 9.00 & 15.00 (scheduled times will vary). All packs will be carefully organised based on temperament, age, agility & obedience. Dogs placed in pack walks must have basic level of training.
Pack walks can be on or off the lead (based on the owners request). No more than 4 dogs will be on each pack walk to enable me to give each individual the attention they require.
Weekend walks will be considered on an individual basis.
INDIVIDUAL WALKS
Hounds & Hunters offer individual walks that are reserved for puppies (ready for walks but not yet ready for pack walks), bitches in heat, older dogs & dogs with individual personality traits.
HOME VISITS
Have you just brought a new puppy home but don't want them to be left on their own whilst you're at work or out for the day?
Hounds & Hunters can make life a lot easier for you by popping in to see your puppy throughout the day (9.00am-15.00pm). Each visit will consist of a toilet break (in the garden or nearby park), putting food down, replenishing water, cleaning up any accidents & most importantly, giving them lots of attention & cuddles. This will help me build a good relationship with your puppy before potentially taking them on short walks & finally joining in on the pack walks.
This service isn't solely for puppies. It's suitable for older dogs or dogs that can't go on a pack walk too.
I can visit once, twice or three times a day at a time that suits you.
DAYCARE
My Business Partner, Russell is at base camp Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday.
Charlotte our Daycare Manager covers Wednesday and Thursday.
This ensures that dogs are never left alone and have consistent supervision.
Base camp is my home, my garden and a purpose built dog cabin/room in the garden which is fully heated, wifi, electrics, sofa, toys. We have a grass area, a stone area, a woodland area & an agility area with wood barked floor. It is securely fenced so no one can escape into my neighbours gardens or Ravensgate Hill behind me !!!!!
I still do my wild walks with the dogs but in-between they chill out, play games, seek out the treat, agility and cuddle on the sofa with my assistant. They will have at least 2 walks depending on the time they spend at day-care. We do also ensure that the dogs have some down time and space to themselves to relax and sleep if needs be.
SLEEPOVERS
Don't worry about your best friend whilst you are on holiday.
Let them stay with me in my family home. I will take the best care of your precious pooch so you don't have to worry.
NOTES IN REGARDS TO ALL DOG WALKS
Before I leave, water bowls will be topped up along with any other duties such as meals & medication (at no extra cost).
I guarantee that your dog will return happy & tired after an excellent workout. They may also be rather muddy. I have a portable Mud Daddy in the car (a warm pumped water spray with brush) that I will use to wash your dog down as much as possible. I also carry towels with me to try get as much muck off as possible, but please bear with me with & our British weather !!!

USEFUL INFORMATION

All dogs will travel in a 2 year old Ford Van. Each dog has its own individual crate for their own safety

Hounds & Hunters will pick up dogs living in Cheltenham area

All dogs should be up to date with vaccinations, worming & flea treatments

All dogs to have a collar with a name badge with your contact details (in line with the road traffic act of 1988)

If you decide that Hounds & Hunters is the right company to walk your precious friend, I will ask you to fill out a questionnaire to make sure I have all the details in regards to what your dog likes, dislikes and more

I will provide you with a Dog Walking Service Agreement, Dog Walking Booking Form, Dog Walking Report Card, Off Lead Disclaimer, Key Release Form, Owner Checklist
